Mau in Hawaiian means to persevere, endure, and to move forward. Craft means skill and experience, especially in relation to making objects. Somehow it fits perfectly 🌼

My name is Melissa Cain - sometimes called Melicious or Mau. I am a 49 yr old fiance, mother, animal lover and tattoo collector 🩷

I have always been creative but never really honed in on one thing. I am self taught at all of it! I had an extremely horrible surgery at MDAnderson in November of 2019 that has left me disabled. I still struggle every day with issues and always will. On the days that I feel up to it, I create some kind of art or apparel. It is therapy for me, and i love the joy it brings to others. My fiance said the disability has given me the chance to do what truly brings me joy. Thank you so much for allowing me to show my art!
